REAL fun with the Nintendo Wii
I really enjoy playing on the Nintendo Wii, but the games aren’t very cheap. To overcome this problem, I spent the whole weekend on hacking/soft modding my Wii and I succeeded. From now on I can start downloading my favorite games, instead of spending lots of money.
I have the option to boot my games from an USB drive with the soft mod for Wii 4.0E. I had some problems with mounting the USB drive. I tried two disks (one Maxtor and one Freecom). The Maxtor disk doesn’t work, but the Freecom disk works perfectly. Not only booting games from an USB drive, but also starting movies / music from a SMB share on the network belongs to the possibilities.
